The renowned publisher has welcomed Ben Brinkman from Respawn Entertainment to direct the studio crew at 31st Union, which is currently developing the upcoming over-the-shoulder roguelike extraction-shooter known as this innovative game.

The new appointee assumes the role of studio head at the development studio following the departure of former leader Michael Condrey, who was removed from his post due to the game's disappointing initial reveal last autumn.

On Wednesday, 2K president David Ismailer updated employees about this strategic move through an internal memo, which stressed that playtesting had shown the necessity for a clearer vision.

The president expressed that the developers is now refining the project with a refreshed vision, aiming to satisfy community desires.
